I have enjoyed coaching many youth sports, including swimming, soccer, and basketball. This will be my 10th year of coaching for York Swim Club. As a 7 year old, I began swimming SHRA. At the age of 12, I joined York Swim Club. I continued swimming through High School at JEB Stuart. I have coached children of all ages and abilities and look forward to sharing my love for swimming with the Sharks this summer.
I am a 4th grade teacher at Bailey’s Upper, and a lifelong swimmer and coach. I found my passion for coaching when my favorite summer coach gave me a lane of 8 year olds and told 12-year-old me to, “Just keep them alive”. Here we are, 20 years later, and I’ve never missed coaching an NVSL summer. I’ve coached teams from Division 12 to Division 1, I’m an age-group coach for VLAC, and the Head Coach for Thomas Jefferson High School’s Swim and Dive team. I am all about team spirit, loud cheering, and wacky spirit wear. I’m very much looking forward to becoming a part of SHRA’s awesome community! LET’S GO SHARKS!
I am currently a 10&under coach for York swim club. At the age of 6 I began my SHRA career swimming and played tennis till 18. I also swam for York swim club and swam on the state team for Falls Church Highschool. I look forward to seeing the kids this summer!
