First, thank you all for donating food this morning. I am never eating again (at least not until noon!). Please see your coach if you did not pick up your t-shirt this morning.

Anyway......It's Week 2!!! This Saturday we travel to Waynewood (Waynewood Rec, 1027 Dalebrook Dr. Alexandria, VA 22308, USA). The entries are now final and attached. Please check them carefully. If your child cannot make it,  contact us ASAP to allow us to substitute (entries have to be in by noon today). If your child is swimming, we are still in need of volunteers. Please sign up through swimtopia. I also attach the swim buddies list. Their only responsibility is to meet and cheer for each other.

Please be at Waynewood no later than 8:10am. If you wish to join the caravan, we will be gathering at SHRA at 7:15, ready to pull out of the car park at 7:25.

We will be having a pep rally this Friday at 5:45. Come learn our cheers and bring s'mores making ingredients to cook over the fire pit.

On Monday evening, we have a Blue vs White B meet. This is an intra-squad meet so we need double the volunteers. For our times to count, we need a full set of deck officials (18 timers, 4 stroke and turn judges, 4 to 6 clerks of course, and 4 marshals). Please do sign up. We also ask that your kids only sign up for 2 events, unless they are swimming the IM, in which case, they can sign up for 3. This is a fun meet and another chance for your kids to get fast times.

Speaking of IMs, we also have the Todd Potts IM Invitational coming up! The Invitational is scheduled for Thursday, July 5th, 6 pm (warm ups for all teams will be between 4 and 6; we will update participants on an exact time). There is a separate entry fee for this (last year it was $4 and we will let you know this year's once we confirm). We have to turn in our entries by noon on Tuesday. Please register your child for the event they are interested in swimming (this is an invitational and therefore, optional). Todd Potts does not allow for deck entries so if you do not register in time, we can't enter your child. As usual, we will need volunteers and will circle back once we know what that are.
