Congratulations to Walden Glen; we are now 2-2. Although we lost the meet, it was much closer than expected (projected by the all knowing computer) in both the overall score and in the actual races. We did better than expected in the races because....... we had FORTY-FOUR best times. Wow SHRA Sharks! Well done! Don't forget to pick up your shark teeth! 

Congrats to Emma Redman who broke her own 11/12 girls' backstroke record with a time of 32.69

On Monday, we have an away B meet against Lee Graham (7319 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 2204). Please be there no later than 5:10 pm. The host pool does choose the events and there will be NO assisted freestyle or kick-board this week. There is 6 & under as long as your child can swim the length of the pool unassisted. Also, there will be IMs which will take place after backstroke and before breaststroke. Lee Graham would like to invite us to join their ice cream social which typically starts after breaststroke. They will provide the ice cream - please do bring toppings to share.

Good luck to the 13/14 boys relay teams on Wednesday at Relay All-Stars.

We will be in touch shortly with respect to this weekend's final A-meet against Fox Mill Woods who are also 2-2. This is just a reminder that, at this meet, we say "until we see you again" to our seniors (Jessica Early, Annellie Freed and Jake Jafari). All three have been swimming with SHRA since they were 8 & under. Let's make sure we give them a fitting send off.
