Critical Information for Saturday Time Trials--Please Read

Final countdown to time trials.  Here is what you need to know:

1.  All swimmers should be at the pool by 8am.  Warm-ups will begin at 8:15 a.m.

2.  Meet will begin promptly at 9am.

3.  In order to run the meet, we still need seven more timers!  We have other volunteer spots available too.  We ask that if you have a swimmer your family volunteers. You don't need special training to time.

4.  Deck officials (including timers) please wear white tops with blue bottoms.

Masks for swimmers

Required while in team areas – Swimmers may remove their masks and leave them with their belongings when leaving the team area, but should put them back on when they return.

Encouraged in all other locations for unvaccinated swimmers – In keeping with guidance from NVSL, the Governor’s current executive order on COVID restrictions, and the CDC, those not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear masks while at the meet.

Masks for deck officials and volunteers

Encouraged in all areas for unvaccinated individuals – In keeping with guidance from NVSL, the Governor’s current executive order pertaining to COVID restrictions, and the CDC, those not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear masks while at the meet.

Timers and nearby officials – Given the prolonged, close proximity to each other and swimmers, timers and nearby deck officials are asked to respect the safety of others and wear masks at all times while in their official positions.

Masks for spectators

●No masking requirements for spectators. The unvaccinated are encouraged to wear masks at the meet.

Distancing for swimmers

Clerk of Course area – Because swimmers will not be masked at the clerk of course area, they will be spaced six feet apart at the Clerk of Course area, in accordance with CDC guidelines for distancing among the unvaccinated.

●No distancing requirements for spectators. The unvaccinated are encouraged to maintain six feet of separation from others.
